Complémentaires, Patrick Gilles et Dorothée Boissier s’opposent et s’attirent. Dissonent pour mieux se réconcilier. De ces désaccords nait un dialogue créatif, riche et inspiré : engagé dans un ping-pong mental, le duo donne forme à ses idées. A deux, ils écrivent une partition où chacun y va de son propre rôle et influences stylistiques pour composer un tout. Sur cette base, Patrick & Dorothée signent, depuis 2004, de nombreux projets à l’international : de résidences en hôtels, de boutiques de luxe en restaurants contemporains, ils imposent leur style. Travaillant actuellement sur les intérieurs du Four Seasons Mexico, du Mandarin Oriental de Marrakech ou du premier hôtel Baccarat qui a ouvert ses portes en mars dernier en face du MoMA, New York, Gilles et Boissier s’attachent aussi toujours à retranscrire de manière artistique la culture local.

Patrick Gilles and Dorothée Boissier are opposites that attract. Joyfully engaged in constant, creative disagreement, they find inspiration: more, it’s precisely this ceaseless game of verbal and mental ping-pong that gives form to their ideas. Partners in life and in design, each one has a specific role and style, but together they form a unified whole. Since 2004, they have designed a variety of projects from residential to hospitality projects, luxury boutiques and lifestyle restaurants. Presently working on the interiors of Four Season’s Hotel in Mexico, Mandarin Oriental in Marrakech and the first ever Baccarat Hotel–opened in March 2015, across the street from the MoMA, New York–Gilles & Boissier thrive in translating local cultures.
