Un espace élégant, baigné de lumière où la nature et une immense bibliothèque courbe sont les deux éléments clés. Un lieu de travail, de découvertes, de lecture et de rencontres dans un cadre serein où le bâti et le vivant se mêlent harmonieusement. Un espace hybride qui répond à la fois à l'amour de l'homme pour la nature et son besoin de connaissance. Un espace de voyages entre réflexion et expérience, intériorité et échanges, études et détente, inspiration et réalisation.
Dans un monde en pleine urbanisation, il invite à repenser les lieux de vie en adéquation avec le bien être de ceux qui les habitent.
L’agencement présente également des qualités hybrides et fait la part belle aux matériaux naturels et aux courbes. La bibliothèque à la fois meuble et cloison permet de séparer un coin cheminée plus intime d'un espace de réunions plus ouvert. Le mobilier et les éléments de décoration s'inscrivent dans la démarche biophilique du projet, soit par leurs formes inspirées de la nature, soit par leurs matériaux durables.

An elegant space, bathed in light, where nature and an immense curved library are the two key elements. A place to work, discover, read and meet in a serene setting where the built and the living blend harmoniously. A hybrid space that responds both to man's love of nature and his need for knowledge. A space for journeys between reflection and experience, interiority and exchange, study and relaxation, inspiration and achievement.
In a world of rapid urbanisation, it invites us to rethink living spaces in harmony with the well-being of those who inhabit them.
The fixed in furniture also has hybrid qualities, with a strong emphasis on natural materials and curves. The bookcase is both a piece of furniture and a partition that separates an intimate fireplace area from an open meeting space. The furniture and decorative elements are in line with the project's biophilic approach, either through their nature-inspired forms or through their sustainable materials.

Depuis leur rencontre en 1997, Elisa et Michael partagent leur vie et leur passion commune pour le design et l'architecture intérieure. Une enfance à Islamabad, Buenos Aires, Bonn, Stockholm et Rome suivie d'études à Paris où elle sort diplômée de l'ESAG Penninghen, Elisa débute à l'agence franco-américaine Studios Architecture avant de poursuivre sur de prestigieux projets de maisons privées pour l'agence Matteo Thun & Partners à Milan. Elle fondera le Studio Catoir en 2006 à Milan. Michael grandit dans la Ruhr et suivra une formation en ébénisterie puis des études de design à la Folkwang Universität der Künste. Il développera du mobilier pour Habitat France et se spécialisera dans la recherche de matériaux à l'agence André Putman à Paris avant de diriger la section architecture intérieure et styling de l'agence Matteo Thun& Partners à Milan. Il devient co-gérant du Studio Catoir en 2008. En 2010 Elisa et Michael déménagent Studio Catoir à Paris, ensemble ils créent des univers élégants où se marient lignes épurées, jeux de matières et surprise. Ils éditent leur propre collection de mobilier où se rencontrent savoir-faire traditionnel, durabilité et design contemporain.

Since meeting in 1997, Elisa and Michael have shared their lives and their common passion for design and interior architecture. Growing up in Islamabad, Buenos Aires, Bonn, Stockholm and Rome followed by studies in Paris where she graduated from ESAG Penninghen, Elisa started at the Franco-American agency Studios Architecture before continuing on prestigious private home projects for the agency Matteo Thun & Partners in Milan. She founded Studio Catoir in 2006 in Milan. Michael grew up in the Ruhr and trained as a cabinetmaker before studying design at the Folkwang Universität der Künste. He developed furniture for Habitat France and specialised in materials research at the André Putman agency in Paris before heading the interior design and styling department of the Matteo Thun & Partners agency in Milan. He became co-manager of Studio Catoir in 2008. In 2010, Elisa and Michael moved Studio Catoir to Paris, together they create elegant spaces which combine refined shapes, playful materials and an element of surprise. They edit a furniture collection that brings together traditional know how, durability and contemporary design.
