Dans ce projet, j’ai cherché à recréer cette élégance naturelle qui se dégage de l’art de vivre à la française ; ce mélange de design, de matières et de couleurs parfois surprenants et qui cohabitent pourtant de manière cohérente. J’ai voulu retranscrire le chic classique français dans un espace de vie moderne et fonctionnel. Le salon est pour moi un endroit convivial, dans lequel on aime recevoir et se retrouver. J’ai cherché à créer un espace à la fois épuré et accueillant, qui puisse valoriser le design des meubles proposés de manière harmonieuse. Les objets tels que l’horloge Time Flies ou les petits tabourets Tobias m’ont inspirée pour jouer avec les courbes des murs, et créer ces petites alcôves plus intimistes et colorées.

In this project, I wanted to recreate the natural elegance evoked by French lifestyles, this mix of design, materials and colors that are sometimes surprising yet still co-exist in a coherent way. I wanted to re-transcribe classic French chic in a modern, functional living space. For me, the living room is a welcoming space where we like to entertain guests and get together with each other. I sought to create a space that was at once pared down and welcoming and that could harmoniously highlight the design of the furniture proposed. The objects like the Time Flies clock and small Tobias stools inspired me to play with the curves of the walls and create more intimate and colorful small alcoves.

Originaire du nord de la France, j’ai 35 ans et je travaille dans le secteur du e-commerce, après avoir été chef de produits dans la mode homme pendant cinq ans. J’ai toujours eu un intérêt fort pour les secteurs créatifs, ceux du design, de la mode et de la décoration en particulier. Je suis aussi passionnée de voyages ; en 2015, je suis partie voyager seule pendant un an autour du monde. Après avoir vécu quelques années aux États-Unis, je suis revenue m’installer début 2020 en France, dans la région lilloise avec mon mari. L’achat d’une maison à rénover a été l’occasion d’explorer un peu plus mon intérêt pour l’aménagement intérieur ; j’ai pris plaisir à retravailler les plans et à modéliser la décoration des espaces de vie. La participation au concours m’a donné envie d’approfondir mes connaissances en design et en simulation 3D.

As a native of northern France, I am 35 years old and work in the e-commerce industry after having been a product manager in the men’s fashion industry for five years. I’ve always had a strong interest in the creative industries of design, fashion and especially decoration. I’m also passionate about travelling: in 2015, I travelled alone around the world. After having lived for a few years in the United States, I returned to France in early 2020, to the Lille region, with my husband. Buying a house to renovate gave me the opportunity to explore my interest in interior design a bit more; I enjoyed reworking the plans and modeling the decoration of the living spaces. Participating in the contest helped expand my knowledge of design and 3D simulation.
